Terms of Service

Effective 20 June 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Shorend platform ("Shorend", "we", "us"), operated by Shorend Limited, Hong Kong. By creating an account or using the platform you agree to these Terms.

1. The service

Shorend is a B2B sourcing marketplace that connects verified factory owners ("Suppliers") with business buyers ("Buyers"). We do not manufacture, sell or ship the products listed on the platform. Any commercial agreement is solely between Buyer and Supplier.

2. Accounts

  • You must be at least 18 years old and have authority to act on behalf of your business.
  • You are responsible for the security of your account and for all activity under it.
  • We may suspend or close accounts that violate these Terms, applicable law, or our policies.

3. Subscriptions and billing

  • Paid plans are billed monthly in advance through Stripe. Prices are shown in USD on the Pricing page.
  • Free trials, where offered, convert to paid plans automatically at the end of the trial unless cancelled.
  • You may cancel at any time from your subscription page. Access continues until the end of the current billing period.
  • Except where required by law, fees already paid are non-refundable. See our Refund Policy for details.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Post false, misleading, infringing, illegal, or counterfeit listings.
  • Scrape, reverse-engineer, or bulk-export data from the platform.
  • Use the platform to send spam, malware, or unsolicited bulk communications.
  • Circumvent quotas, plan limits, or other technical restrictions.

5. Content and listings

You retain ownership of content you upload (logos, photos, descriptions). You grant us a worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, display and distribute that content as needed to operate the platform. You are responsible for the accuracy and legality of your content.

6. Verification and badges

Verification badges reflect checks made at a point in time and do not constitute a guarantee, endorsement, or warranty by Shorend. Buyers remain responsible for their own due diligence before transacting.

7. Disclaimers

The platform is provided "as is" and "as available". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Shorend will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with the platform. Our aggregate liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

9. Termination

You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or if required by law.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Hong Kong SAR. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Hong Kong courts, unless mandatory consumer law in your jurisdiction provides otherwise.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be notified by email or in-app at least 14 days before they take effect.
